Overview

Discover a completely different side of Bali’s underwater world with the PADI Night Diver Specialty in Amed and Tulamben. As daylight fades, familiar dive sites transform and nocturnal marine life emerges from the reef.

During three open-water night-training dives, you will learn how to plan and safely conduct dives after dark. Under the guidance of an experienced PADI instructor, you will practise underwater navigation, communication using dive lights, buddy procedures, entry and exit techniques, and maintaining awareness in limited visibility.

Night dives around Amed and Tulamben offer the chance to encounter sleeping turtles, hunting octopuses, crustaceans and other nocturnal marine life. Depending on conditions, your training may include a night dive at the famous USAT Liberty Wreck.

The course is available to certified divers aged 12 and above and is normally completed over two evenings. PADI learning materials, three night dives, full scuba equipment, dive lights, and PADI certification are included.
