Since 2004, we have helped divers explore the best of Bali, from the USAT Liberty Wreck in Amed to manta encounters and fast drift dives around Nusa Penida. We operate two relaxed resorts so you can stay close to the water, enjoy fun dives, and train on PADI courses from Discover Scuba through to Divemaster. In Amed, our Jukung Dive resort sits near calm bays and easy shore reef entries that are perfect for learning, relaxed fun dives, sunrise dives, and night dives. With direct access to the USAT Liberty Wreck, Jemeluk, Bunutan, Seraya Secrets, and more, Amed is ideal for beginners, training courses, and underwater macro photography in a peaceful setting.

In Nusa Penida, our island resort places you close to Manta Point, Crystal Bay, Toyapakeh, SD, and PED, with a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean and Mt.Agung, an in-house Sky Penida Restaurant for sunset dinners, and Sky Penida Spa for relaxing post dive treatments. From warm shallow training sites to big blue days at Manta Point and Crystal Bay, we match each dive day to the conditions and to your experience.

Jukung Dive is a simple idea, stay and dive in Bali with genuine care. We also organise airport pickup/drop and smooth transfers between Amed and Nusa Penida, allowing you to explore our Bali dive packages and combine the best of both locations in one easy plan. Stay for 4 nights and only pay for 3, your fourth night is on us. More time to dive, relax and enjoy Bali with Jukung Dive Resort.

Enjoy four nights for the price of three at our Amed or Nusa Penida resort when you book two days of diving, two days of snorkelling,
or a Discover Scuba Diving experience. You can also split your stay between both resorts, with diving or snorkelling at each location.

MOLA MOLA SEASON IS HERE

August to November is one of the most exciting times to dive in Nusa Penida. Join us to explore renowned sites such as
Crystal Bay, with the chance to encounter the extraordinary ocean sunfish in the deep blue.

Mola mola, also known as ocean sunfish, are one of the ocean’s most unusual and fascinating creatures—and the heaviest bony fish in the world. They spend much of their lives in deep water, but during the cooler months they rise towards the reefs around Nusa Penida, where cleaner fish remove parasites from their skin. This creates a rare opportunity for divers to encounter them at renowned sites such as Crystal Bay. With their enormous bodies, curious expressions and distinctive fins appearing through the deep blue, seeing a mola mola is an unforgettable experience for any diver. Sightings can never be guaranteed, but from August to November, the chances are at their best.

Our Nusa Penida resort places you close to world class dive sites including Manta Point, Crystal Bay, Toyapakeh, SD, and PED, the heart of scuba diving in Nusa Penida. RICHARD

Originally from Manado, North Sulawesi, Richard began his diving journey in 2016 and quickly developed a passion for the underwater world. Now managing our Nusa Penida dive centre and resort, he combines strong operational experience with a genuine love for diving, helping ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience both in and out of the water. From healthy coral reefs to manta rays and seasonal mola mola encounters, Richard believes every dive around Nusa Penida is a new adventure.

The only part that felt a bit serious was the paperwork/waiver, almost like taking an exam 😅 but I understand they do it because they take safety very seriously, which I really appreciate.

I had my swimming pool session with Gerald, and he was incredibly patient while teaching all the basics of diving. Truly top notch service.
On the second day, I went for my open water dive at Manta Point with Jessica, the divemaster. She was calm, patient, and very professional. I even saw manta rays up close — they were massive and absolutely breathtaking.

All the staff and crew were friendly, helpful, and super chill.

They setup a snorkel day to see mantas. We rented scooters from them. They we’re awesome!! Resort was quite new. We didn’t like that the shower sprayed everywhere in the bathroom with no separation. The resort was quite dead while we were there. If you’re into relaxation then this could be a nice place. We wanted more lively action. The laundry at the resort is done per item instead of per weight, which was weird.

The staff were absolutely incredible whether at the bar, reception, or on the diving team, everyone was so friendly and always wore a smile. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and offered a breathtaking sunrise view right from the window.

The food was outstanding (honestly the best I’ve had on the island) and the sunset point was such a cool spot to relax in the evenings. Diving with the resort was unforgettable! I even had the chance to see a mola mola! I felt completely safe and comfortable with the dive master the whole time.

Overall, this place is a true gem. I would recommend it 10/10 and will definitely be coming back!

The service at the hotel was amazing, as was the dive team. Special thanks to Apli and Gerard, my dive instructors who were both absolutely great! It has a great tranquil location on a hill. Views from the restaurant and pool area are beautiful, especially sunsets. Sunrise was beautiful from my balcony. The room was nice and clean. They arranged for transfers to and from the port, had a scooter rental for getting around the island and were super helpful for me as a solo traveller. Would highly recommend.
