Overview

Let your child discover the excitement of breathing underwater with the PADI Bubblemaker programme at Jukung Dive Resort Amed.

Designed for children aged eight and above, this fun pool experience introduces young adventurers to scuba equipment in a safe and relaxed environment. Under the direct supervision of one of our friendly PADI Professionals, they will learn how to breathe through a regulator, move underwater and try a few simple scuba activities—all in water shallower than two metres.

No previous diving experience is required, but children should feel comfortable in the water and must have permission from a parent or guardian. The experience usually takes around one to two hours, including the introduction, equipment preparation and pool session.

Bubblemaker is a pool experience rather than a certification course, making it the perfect first step for children who are curious about the underwater world.

Daily Itinerary Welcome & Safety Briefing

Meet your PADI Professional for a friendly introduction to scuba diving, pool safety and what to expect during the Bubblemaker experience.

Daily Itinerary Child-Sized Scuba Equipment

Your child will be fitted with suitable scuba equipment and learn how the mask, fins, regulator and buoyancy equipment work.

Daily Itinerary Bubblemaker Pool Session

Enter the swimming pool with the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. Children will practise breathing underwater, swimming with scuba equipment and enjoying simple underwater activities in water shallower than two metres.

Daily Itinerary Finish & Celebrate

Finish the session with plenty of smiles, photos and a special memory from your child’s first underwater adventure.

FAQ

What is the minimum age for PADI Bubblemaker?

Children must be at least eight years old. Permission from a parent or legal guardian is required.

Does my child need previous diving experience?

No previous scuba-diving experience is required. Children simply need to feel comfortable in the water.

What is included?

The experience includes a safety briefing, child-sized scuba equipment, a supervised pool session and guidance from a PADI Professional.

How deep will my child go?

The experience takes place in our swimming pool in water shallower than two metres. A PADI Professional directly supervises your child throughout the session.

Which languages are available?

Bubble Maker can be offered in English, Chinese, French, Spanish or Indonesian, subject to instructor availability. Please tell us your preferred language when booking so we can arrange the right instructor.

How long does the experience take?

The complete experience usually takes around one to two hours, including the briefing, equipment preparation and pool session.
