How Our Course + Stay Packages Work
Our Bali scuba diving course packages bundle your PADI training, accommodation, meals, equipment, and logistics into one simple booking. Choose Amed, Nusa Penida, or a split stay, and we’ll coordinate harbour and inter-resort transfers, schedule your course days, and handle breakfast and lunch on dive days, so you can focus on learning and the incredible diving that Bali has to offer.
Our most popular itinerary is PADI Open Water in Amed plus Advanced Open Water in Nusa Penida. You begin skills training in Amed’s calm volcanic bays with easy entries and access to the USAT Liberty Shipwreck, then progress to Nusa Penida’s marine-protected reefs for drift, deep, and manta dives (mola mola seasonal, conditions permitting). It’s the smoothest path from first bubbles to confident advanced diver.
To keep everything seamless, Jukung Dive Bali, a PADI 5★ Dive Resort, has operated in Amed since 2004 and now runs comfortable resorts in both locations. Train and stay just steps from shore in Amed, then transfer to our ocean-view Nusa Penida resort with an infinity pool facing Mount Agung, ideal for relaxing between Advanced dives.

What does a PADI course package include?
Our PADI course packages are designed to make your diving experience simple, comfortable, and well organised from start to finish. Each package includes your PADI training, accommodation at our Amed or Nusa Penida resorts, daily breakfast, lunch on diving days, full scuba equipment, PADI eLearning, and certification fees. We also handle course scheduling, dive days, and on site logistics so you can focus fully on learning, improving your skills, and enjoying your time underwater in Bali.
Can I combine Amed and Nusa Penida in one course package?
Yes, combining Amed and Nusa Penida in one course package is one of our most popular options. Many divers choose to begin their training in Amed, where calm conditions and easy shore entries make it ideal for building confidence and core skills. From there, you can continue your course in Nusa Penida, where you will experience more dynamic diving such as drift dives, deeper sites, and manta encounters when conditions allow. We coordinate inter resort transfers and adjust the course schedule so the transition between locations is smooth and stress free.
Who are these course packages suitable for?
Our course packages are suitable for a wide range of divers, from complete beginners to certified divers continuing their training. We offer Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver with EFR, Divemaster, and a range of specialty courses including Nitrox, Deep, Drift, PPB, and Night Diving. Training is conducted in small groups with experienced PADI instructors who focus on safety, skill development, and confidence. The pace of each course is adapted to your comfort level and experience.
How long does a course package usually take?
The length of a course package depends on the course level and how you choose to structure your stay. An Open Water course usually takes three to four days, Advanced Open Water typically takes two to three days, and Rescue courses generally take around four days. Many guests choose to extend their stay with extra nights, rest days, or fun dives to create a more relaxed holiday style schedule rather than completing the course as quickly as possible.
Can the package be personalised to my travel plans?
Yes, every course package is fully personalisable to suit your travel plans, schedule, and goals. You can choose your course level, preferred location, start dates, number of nights, additional fun dives, private guiding, Nitrox, or extra specialty courses. We can also accommodate flexible start dates, companion or non diver accommodation, and optional harbour or airport transfers to fit seamlessly into your Bali itinerary.
Do I need any experience or medical clearance before booking?
No previous diving experience is required for beginner courses such as the Open Water course. All students must complete a standard PADI medical questionnaire, and in some cases a doctor’s clearance may be required before training begins. If you are already certified, simply let us know your current certification level and recent dive history so we can recommend the most suitable course or package. Our team is always happy to review this with you before booking and answer any questions you may have.
