No. This experience is for first-time divers. Your PADI instructor will explain the equipment and practise the basics with you in the pool before your ocean dives.
The experience includes one pool training session, two guided ocean dives, full diving equipment, tanks and weights, a professional PADI instructor, DAN dive accident insurance, refreshments and lunch at the resort.
Both include the same pool session and two ocean dives. The 1-day option does everything in one day, starting with the pool in the morning. The 2-day option has the pool session on day one and the dives on day two.
You’ll get used to breathing underwater and practise basic skills with your instructor. It’s a chance to become comfortable with the equipment before heading into the ocean.
We usually plan the first dive at Manta Point and the second at Crystal Bay, giving you the opportunity to encounter manta rays and discover Nusa Penida’s marine life. Dive sites depend on sea conditions and safety, and wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
No. Try Scuba is an introduction to diving, not a certification course. If you enjoy it and want to become a certified diver, you can take the PADI Open Water course afterwards.
For the one-day option, pool training begins at approximately 7:00 am, followed by two ocean dives. You will usually return to the resort in the early afternoon for an included lunch. For the two-day option, pool training takes place on the afternoon of Day 1 and the ocean dives are completed on Day 2.
