No. This experience is for first-time divers. Your PADI instructor will explain the equipment and practise the basics with you in the pool before your ocean dives.
A briefing, pool session, two guided ocean dives, scuba equipment, DAN Insurance, and lunch are included. Accommodation and travel to Amed are not included.
Both include the same pool session and two ocean dives. The 1-day option does everything in one day, starting with the pool in the morning. The 2-day option has the pool session on day one and the dives on day two.
You’ll get used to breathing underwater and practise basic skills with your instructor. It’s a chance to become comfortable with the equipment before heading into the ocean.
The two ocean dives are usually at the USAT Liberty Wreck in Tulamben. The exact site may change if conditions require it.
No. Try Scuba is an introduction to diving, not a certification course. If you enjoy it and want to become a certified diver, you can take the PADI Open Water course afterwards.
