You must be at least 18 years old, hold a PADI Rescue Diver certification or equivalent, and have completed recognised CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months. You’ll also need a medical statement signed by a physician within the previous 12 months.
You need at least 40 logged dives to begin the Divemaster course and at least 60 logged dives to qualify. Please contact our team before booking if you need additional dives during the internship.
The programme includes PADI Divemaster eLearning, professional training, required workshops and assessments, mentoring from our experienced instructors, and practical experience inside our PADI 5 Star Dive Resort. Accommodation is available separately.
The programme is designed to be completed within one month, but certification depends on your starting experience, logged dives, preparation and successful completion of every PADI requirement. Additional time or dives may be needed in some cases.
You’ll assist with PADI courses, prepare equipment, support daily boat and dive-centre operations, help with briefings and gain supervised experience guiding certified divers around Nusa Penida.
Once you have completed all course requirements, qualified as a PADI Divemaster and activated your professional membership, you can apply for Divemaster positions and continue your training towards becoming a PADI Instructor.
