You must be a certified PADI Open Water Diver or hold an equivalent entry-level certification from another recognised training organisation.
The course includes PADI eLearning, five Adventure Dives, instruction from an experienced PADI professional, full scuba equipment, dive insurance and your PADI Advanced Open Water certification.
After booking, you’ll receive access to the PADI eLearning materials to complete online before your course. You can study at your own pace from your phone, tablet or computer.
Yes. Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation are required, and you can choose three additional Adventure Dives from the options available. For Nusa Penida, we recommend Drift Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Fish Identification.
The USAT Liberty Shipwreck is one of the highlights of diving in Tulamben and may be included as part of your course, particularly if you choose the Wreck Adventure Dive. The final dive sites will depend on your selected Adventure Dives, experience and local conditions.
The course normally takes two days and includes five Adventure Dives. Your PADI eLearning should be completed before the first day.
You’ll become a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and can dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres. You can also continue your training with PADI Specialty courses or the PADI Rescue Diver course.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course can be offered in English, Chinese, French, Spanish or Indonesian, subject to instructor availability. Please tell us your preferred language when booking so we can arrange the right instructor.
